Nanamica explores the interconnection between humans and the natural world in their latest publication.

The Japanese fashion brand nanamica collaborated with photographers Anthony Thomas and Theophilos Constantinou from Copenhagen on a new photobook titled "Slow Collapse." This work aims to showcase the splendor of nature alongside the urgent challenges posed by climate change.

"Slow Collapse" captures the essence of how humans coexist with the natural environment. The choice of Japan as the backdrop for this series was deliberate due to its predominantly mountainous landscape and the existence of around 4,000 smaller islands. Central to the book's theme is the exploration of the ocean's ability to regenerate and the complex dynamics between humans and nature. Nanamica, known for its philosophy of "One Ocean, All Lands," was the perfect partner for this project, aligning closely with the photographers' vision.

The book is available exclusively at nanamica's brick-and-mortar store in Japan and through its online platform for $29 USD. Alongside the book, two t-shirts made from COOLMAX cotton fabric are being released, each adorned with a distinct photograph from the "Slow Collapse" series.
